His voice was low, he found it tough to string words together, and to top it off, every time he even tried to talk, I could hear a bunch of other guys laughing and giggling. The caller disconnected and called me back in ten minutes to identify himself as Chuck. He sounded a bit calmer now, though still equally embarrassed. He requested immediate assistance and told me that he had made an honest mistake of filling his car up with petrol instead of diesel. Our rescue team reached the location in a matter of 15 minutes . We drained the fuel before carrying it to the nearest gas station. It turned out that the guy had an extraordinary knowledge of cars and liked to brag about it. The fact that he had made such a fundamental error of wrong fuel in car was the source of all the giggling amusement of his friends and his deep embarrassment.
